Sunderland RNLI Lifeboat Station - Station VisitsThe crew at Sunderland RNLI Lifeboat Station are keen to raise both the profile locally and nationally of the RNLI. In keeping with this we encourage groups and individuals to visit, by prior arrangement, Sunderland?s Lifeboat Station.
Icelandic Association for Search and Rescue (ICE-SAR) & Teesdale and Weardale Search and Rescue Team Visit
These visits normally consist of a supervised look around the two inshore lifeboats, followed by a video back at the boathouse. Each visit is tailored to the needs of those visiting.
Chernobyl Children Lifeline
In addition to station visits Sunderland Lifeboat Crew give many talks to local schools and organisations. We believe that it is important for us to take what the RNLI stands for into the community at large! If you would like to arrange a talk then please get in touch!
